Irakli Machabeli

Irakli Machabeli is a Managing Director and U.S. Structured Credit Programmer for Sculptor Capital. He manages the Structured Credit team’s dedicated IT professionals who develop sophisticated models and pricing applications that help the Firm’s Structure Credit investment professionals quickly analyze a large number of trading opportunities across residential and commercial mortgages, consumer loans and other asset classes.

Mr. Machabeli has more than 20 years of experience in finance and technology. Prior to joining Sculptor Capital, he was Vice President Software Development at Barclays Capital, Software Developer at Bear Stearns, Software Developer at LHS Telekommunikation GmbH & Co / ERICSSON, Manager of Software Development and Technology at Tbilisi Interbank Currency Exchange.

Mr. Machabeli holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Mathematics from Tbilisi State University and Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Tbilisi State University.
